Perfect for travel...

I used this on a long-haul flight. It helps me hydrated, relax and helps with altitude sickness. It doesn't taste bad; it's easy to drink, and you can mix it with water or juice. This is a must for travelers.

Altitude and hydration support

This worked great! I used it during my hike to Macchu Picchu. With only 1 day to acclimate, this helped support my hydration and I never felt any altitude sickness. It was very easy to mix and the taste was not bad either.

Would buy again

I bought this for hiking in the Rockies. Worked great. I liked that it did not have melatonin and didn not leave me groggy.

Felt great, would recommend.

Tried this on a recent weekend in the mountains. Definitely felt more rested and hydrated in the mornings.

Works!

I recently bought this for a trip where I flew from my home at sea level to boulder Colorado in order to complete a 17 mile hike the day after landing. I drank this the night before my trip and the night before the hike and was able to sleep great and mitigate the effects of high altitude, which typically impact me greatly. I am glad to have found this product. It really works!

Works great for my first nights at 9600 feet above sea level

Taking one of these my first nights sleeping at altitude allows me to sleep through the night! I do not love the taste but they work for me.

Works As Intended

Jet lag is real. All the magnesium you need to help counter that altitude adjustment. Help calm yourself to sleep or simply use to stave off the headache. If you have ever wondered how there are two cooking instructions for somethings, visit CO (or any mountainous area) and see the difference. Travel/hiking/portable. Easy to use, effective, no complaints.

Easy to carry. Mixes well. Pleasant taste.

Have not had a chance to use these at high altitude but did use them for a flight across 3 time zones. I felt fine after the flight. Cannot say these made me feel better than I would have without, but definitely did not have any negative effects. The taste is fine. Since taste is subjective, YMMV. Mixes easily with water. Packets are small and easy to carry in carry-on or backpack.

Thumbs Up

I got this for my niece who lives in CO and travels back home to NE about five times a year. She always from altitude sickness, both from the mountain altitude and then flying. When she would arrive home she'd be almost green and wouldn't feel great until a day or two later,
She was hesitant to even try but she also was willing to give it a go so she wouldn't lose days just not having energy and feeling queasy.
She said this actually made a difference .
Both coming home and going home. So she'll be reordering. She had no ill effects at all from it.

To the mountains

I love running to the mountains but I don't live anywhere near one. So when I go to really high one, I experience altitude sickness and it takes a day or 2 for me to acclimate. I tried this product to aid me in adjusting. I also hydrate myself really well. I had less headache and dizziness during my trip and it made me adjust way faster.. It's just too expensive at $51.99 for 10 pack.

Sleep for the slopes

Just went skiing - I've had a terrible time adjusting to the altitude on prior trips and found myself tossing and turning all night. A friend recommended I try this and it was a lifesaver. I had so much more energy on the slopes after a full night's sleep. Highly recommended.

Good purchase

These teas are amazing, especially for long flights. The high magnesium content prevents you from feeling dizzy when you wake up. They relax you and help you sleep. I also use them when I get back from traveling to rest better and avoid jet lag.

Sleep Aid + Altitude Sickness Prevention & Hydration

A nice tasting recovery/sleep/hydration mix. It mixes fairly well. A good list of ingredients and this is very expensive per serving that I dont understand even with ingredients. Due to the ingredients I took this when I did late day/night workouts since I tend to get amped after workouts. I cant make claims for the altitude sickness/prevention even though I do live around 3500ft and hike to up to 5500ft so I am not really at high altitude.
1 packet per serving with 10 packets per bag.
3rd party claims.
Comes with a sleep eyemask.

My favorite sleep aid for the mountains

I used AltiSnooze all weekend in Park City and it was the best sleep I've ever had at altitude.

Need more info

This product is missing info for me to give it a higher rating, so I am giving this 3 stars for now.

I do not see any information on the package as to where this is manufactured, and/or where the ingredients are sourced (from overseas-hopefully not?) I do see this is 3rd party lab tested, and it uses ingredients that are trademarked which is good. There are also no fillers or artificial sweeteners used, just stevia, also good. The taste is that of a supplement, not anything you'd want to be drinking for pleasure for sure.

What I find interesting about this formula is I would prefer to take it as a daytime support. I am a high strung, i.e. anxious personality-so I actually take a lot of these ingredients already to keep on an even keel and stay energized during the day. I am not susceptible to it, but if you are the type who gets energized from taking B-vitamins - you may not want to take this too close to bedtime as they are in high amounts.

Hmmm

So there are a lot of good things in this, but I'm weary of the claims. It takes ten days at altitude for your body to start making more hemoglobin so that you can improve your oxygen levels this doesn't claim to do that but rather to capitalize on "utilization" downstream. This mix is to boost energy and keep you hydrated, and they have a few fancy ingredients that (don't get me wrong) are good, but hard to see why they might help you sleep (like B6 and B12). This is a good recovery mix, and I suppose that's what it helps with, is making you acclimate a little faster.

As for the taste, I like it. I haven't noticed much of a difference when I use it versus when I don't when I'm at altitude. The only time I tend to have trouble sleeping is when I do a hut trip and sleep above 10,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies, and I don't think it helped much on the most recent trip.

As for price, it's incredibly expensive, so I took it down a star for that. I will be sticking to a sleepy cider mix that I have been using for years.

Bad Taste / Questionable Effectiveness

The taste is miserable, and I'm pretty sure it stains the teeth a tad too... BUT... I'd be willing to overlook that if it worked.

I recently took this for a 5 day CO ski trip. Started the night before as recommended. I think there was some impact on acclimatization, as I only had a mild headache for the first day of my trip. So that is where they might have helped. My sleep saw ZERO improvement from the product, I stopped taking it after 4 doses (1 before traveling, and 3 in CO), and the last 2 nights I stopped taking it, and I probably slept better than when using the product.

I'll try it again to see if it has an impact on jetlag. I travel to Asia a few times a year, and will see the impact if any. I did not see much result for sleep aid at altitude though.

Sleep Aid + Altitude Sickness Prevention

I came across this product because, better sleep! This pack contains cordyceps, holy basil, and electrolytes, which sounds like a science experiment for your body. The idea is it'll help with everything from headaches to nausea and fatigue, which is all I deal with when I go high up. It's also supposed to help with jet lag, which I need cause I'm a terrible sleeper on planes.

The packaging is pretty straightforward, but I wish there was more on how to dose it for different altitudes or conditions. If you're like me and need something to help you adjust to those higher elevations or just want a better night's sleep in new environments, this might be worth a shot.

Offers allot of nutrients

This thing is packed in nutrients, and by all accounts on how it tastes is very accurate. I am able to get a good nights sleep and feel no worse then the day before. But consuming the powder can be a challenge. I found that an electrical whisk and small amounts of water 3-4oz is best to gulp everything in one swift motion. It's not pleasant to the taste buds by any means, odd taste, very powdery and chunky. You might be able to consume this by adding more water but i found that thats just asking to keep brining back the taste more often.

Difficult to drink, needs to be diluted a LOT, good ingredients

I like the included active ingredients in this, I hate the flavor. Just going to be honest. Do not follow the packet directions to mix this is in 2 ounces of water. It needs about....20 or more ounces! And I don't know about you but I don't particularly enjoy chugging 20+ ounces of liquid right before bed knowing I'm going to have to get up 3 times in the next hour to use the bathroom.
The active ingredients are all effective and have a good spectrum of various benefits to help fight off altitude headaches and general malaise that could keep you from sleeping. I didn't notice a strong effect but the effect will depend on your particular body chemistry.

Middling experience - but it might help

Our family tried these recently on a transpacific flight. The general consensus was that they probably didn't help much with sleep but also didn't make things any worse. One person slept better than normal (for a long flight) going in one direction.

Extremely long flights are taxing on the body and it can be difficult to get good sleep under the best circumstances. I'm willing to try anything that may help; unfortunately, for us, any difference from this wasn't particularly noticeable. It did come nicely packaged in individual packets with a small sleep mask in the bag.

Amazing product

My parents and I both used these on long trans Atlantic flights and helped a lot with not feeling jet lagged on landing. Going to Peru soon and will be taking these with me for the high altitude town I'll be in. Great product and so cute that it came with a sleep eye mask too!

Actually Works!!

Since I travel often, I really like to have these on hand when stress and anxiety are at its peak. Easy to take and last throughout my flights for 6+ hours.

They honestly work without any uncessary effects.

Overall, recommended!!

Works for my wife!

The taste is NOT great, but it works! This helped my wife sleep while on vacation. The kit, while expensive, comes with a cool sleep mask in addition to the single use packets. I think the price is a little high, but sleep is pretty much priceless when on vacation and a small price to pay if you are having issues. Definitely recommended as something to pack with you just in case. It is one of those things, like upset stomach medicine, that you don't want to travel without.

Perfect for plane trips

I live in a very low-atitude location, but fly regularly to higher elevations. I've always had an issue with trying to sleep on flights. The only sleep that I can get while in the ear is that like half conscious sleep where you feel more tired after it's over and are constantly just being in and out of consciousness. I drank this about an hour before a seven hour flight and when I tell you, I was knocked out for most of the flight. Truly the best sleep I've ever had on the plane, the only time I woke up was when my neighbor tapped my shoulder so I wouldn't miss the food (which I appreciated lol). I love this product because you don't feel loopy and while you are able to sleep, it isn't like a drugged sleep that you have to fight your way out of. You basically sleep as well as you would in your own bed at the altitude your body is accustomed to. Highly recommend!

So far, no discomfort at all.

I haven't had the chance to travel to high-altitude places yet, but my family frequently takes long-haul flights, It makes falling asleep during long flights so much easier, and so far, we haven't experienced any dizziness or grogginess after using it.
